Just came back from a great 'stay-cation' at Intercontinental with Dar Dar.. Spent the weekend there from fri to sun.. As Intercontinental is having their 14th Anniversary promotion, we stayed there for 3D2N for only 280 bucks! Super duper cheap! We were given the 15th floor and it was facing the pool....

These 3 days just zoomed past so fast.. we spent most of the time shopping and i think i spent about 200 bucks during these 3 days! There is sale almost everywhere now! Faceshop is having 20% storewide and Dar Dar and I spent a total of 150 bucks there! He bought perfume and essence while I got BB cream, a sleeping mask, a white jewel peel and make up remover wipes.. Oh did I mentioned that that was our 1st spending station only? Next we headed towards Orch for more shopping.. Went to CK Tang and I alone spent about a 100 over bucks.... NU bra (for wedding gown- photoshoot is just next fri!), 2 pairs of shoes (super cheap I would say around 20 each only!), and clothes (which sweet Dar Dar paid for them!) He also bought for himself a pair of sports shoes at the Sports Fair at Taka.... Ther eare so many more discounts going on around Orch but we didn't have the time to go to all these places.... I LOVE SALES, don't u?

After a day's of shopping and u head to the spa pool to relax was totally awesome! My back was aching like mad from all that walking about and of cos not to forget it was partly contributed by the back exercise which I had earlier that day....

What's enjoyment without foooooooood......... we ate loads man even had supper somemore OMG! *mega grin*

Had a really awesome time today in school! Today was part 2 of our staff seminar and we had to go outdoors to accomplish our tasks.

Basically we had to choose a colour and we chose red. We had to decide on a theme associated with that colour so we chose LOVE.... Had to head to an iconic place of our theme, LOVE, and we chose Parkmall where the LOVE sign situates.... but to our horror it was no longer there!!!!!!!!!!!

So we headed back towards PS where the car was being parked.... then an idea struck us and we decided to settle for The Cocoa Trees!

And of cos another crazy idea struck us and we headed to Spotlight to have the following pic taken.... love it i tell ya!

First day of school today was not as bad as what i imagined. There are a total of 4 BTs including myself. The staff there are nice and friendly and this helped us settle in even better. Not assigned any classes yet so basically today we were kinda of slacking ard =) WOnder what else is install for us tml.... hahhaha =P

Tml is the day.... am freaking out a little.... kept thinking if i would be the only one posted to the school.... cos it seems like no one else called the school sia.... new environment, new colleagues, new children....... exciting yet scary.... am definietly not looking forward to waking up at 5.30 a.m.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to recce my new school with my sis on thurs.... initially i thought that i can just take one direct bus and walk to school.... but oh boy i won't wanna walk there alone at 6 plus in the morning lo... so secluded and quiet ewww scary... so i rather change buses instead....

Chalet with Viv and Chris (Dec 2008)

It's our annual chalet again! This time we had ours at Aloha Loyang. Though it was only a night, it was incredibly fun and enjoyable.... and we had lots of fun laughing, eating and dressing up. It was the first time we had a 'dressing up' part. Initially we wanted to rent some costumes but it was way too ex and impractical. So smart chris thought of the Colour theme idea.... We were supposed to wear both Black AND White, NOT 'or'....

And so our day started with lunch at KFC, and boy, u should see the amount of things we carry to the chalet, esp Viv! Seems as if we are on the run! Headed to NTUC to purchase our BBQ stuff before heading to our chalet!

We started to prepare the food stuff for the BBQ.... Viv was preparing the prawns and satay, while I was boiling water. And u might be wondering, "Where's Chris?" ---- Busy taking pics, of cos! hahahah....

And by coincidence Viv and I wore exactly the same colours! hahhaha

After the food has been prepared, we decided to head down to Downtown east for a walk since it was still way too early for dinner....

We only slept at 7 that night.... What an eventful night of mahjonging, dressing up, eating, chatting, laughing and fun!!!!!! Love them to bits!! =P

My family chalet was a day after the chalet I had with Viv and Chris.... It was also at Aloha Loyang but at Seaview Terrace.... It was 5D4N and each day was simply enjoyable! Mahjonging, swimming, badminton, board and card games, eating etc! And Dar Dar even cook us lunch on X'mas Eve! Fragrant Chicken Rice.... Yummy-licious!!!!! As for me, I made strawberry chessecake for them.... =P

Waihan, Yivon, Jiaying and Yiwei, along with TR and SH, joined us for BBQ on Boxing Day. And as requested by Han, we took jumping shots.... Is it liek a fad or sth????

Addicted to taiwanaese dramas recently!! Finished "Corner with love" 轉角*遇到愛 and i watched it twice can u believe it! muahhaha.... love da songs in there too! =)

Ma new addict is 不良笑花 Miss No Good.... I simply love Rainie Yang in there.... she is superbly hilarious and i salute her for her acting skills!

Trying hard to enjoy maself to da max before school starts again!

So how have i spent ma time ever since da exams? (besides taiwanese dramas....)

1) Painted a new coat of colour to ma entire house.... love da way it looks now.... so much cleaner and neater feeling.... initially it was like stepping into a box of crayons? muhahah now it's a clean and neat coat of orchid white.... of cos we won;t have finished everything within 2 days without ma Dar Dar's help.... =P

2) Met up with Viv and Chris.... minds cafe again of cos since it's ladies night! Yoohoo! Play this game called Quelf and we had to do silly really SILLY and 'maloo' stuff!!!! All these had been recorded down with viv's cammie.... evidence of our SILLIEST acts!!! ALthough it was so embarrassing we had great fun.. and a great time laughing too!!!! =P

Next we headed down to Kallang Mac's to catch up with one another.... and we are still decding on a theme for our upsoming chalet! geez.... =P Can't wait to see u girls again!!!!!!!

Went out with ma mum, ma sis, and ma sis's friend right after ma sis finished her exams.... headed to The Regent for their High-Tea cos we had da 1-for-1 promotion voucher.... hm i would say it was rather disappointing in terms of its quality of food.... Goodwood park one is really much better.. but i would say it's ambience is good though.... and i love their table settings and tea cups.... :P

4) Met up with ma Sec school gang at PP (our di pan,.. muahhah....) cos Yiwei has finally returned to Singapore from her studies abroad.... and since she wanna eat charsiew buns we brought her to Crystal Jade for some Tim Sum.... :)

I am back! MIA for long due to da almost never-ending workload of school! Exams are like next week.... and u knwo what? I have not even started! (then why am i still here? muhaha)

This day marks a very special and meaningful part of my life. A day that we would remember for the rest of our lives. It is our day - It is not only our 3rd Anniversary, it is also the day he asked me for my hand in marriage.

But this day would not have been made this special without them....

Bee Hong and Peiyu.... Thanks for all the preparations (the balloons which I really love a lot especially the pink ones =).... Thanks for taking the pictures of this special night!

Thanks to ma secondary school friends, Wai Han, Yi Von and Jiaying for being there to share my joy.... Thanks for the daisies I really love them!

Shucks! I tripped and fell while i was jogging with ma sis yesterday! Scrapped ma knee and scratches on ma arm and palms.... Da bruise on ma knee is da worst! I have to stagger ma way ard cos it's just so painful! Shites....

On a lighter note.... I am gonna finished reading 'New Moon' soon! Just a few more chaps and I can move onto 'Eclipse'! I have also pre-ordered their last book 'Breaking Dawn'! Can't wait! ****I have finally read to da part where Edward and Bella are reunited! Yippie!!!!

Finished reading 'Twilight' a few days ago and i love it to da max! A bitter-sweet romance between a vampire and a human being.... I seriously can't wait to watch da movie which would be out in Dec!!!!!! *screams* Edward(starring Robert Pattinson) is awesomely cute!!!!! (okie i know da poster doesn't really do justice to his looks)
Have moved on to its sequel - 'New Moon' and i got so sian after reading da 2nd chapter cos Edward left Bella! Arghhhhhhhh.... Can't wait to read da part when he returns for her again!

After much talk about lunching with DRT we finally got down to it (thanks to gil's BRAVERY of cos! hahaha....)

Hung out with Gil and Syl recently (past 2 weeks).... 1st was our Shopping trip in town then our KTV session (plus Pearlyn) at Partyworld (after much persuasion by gil of cos.... =D)

Went to da Science Centre with ma mum and sis.... and we spent da entire day there! Loads of stuff to play and see!

I *heart* this best! I have seen this in someone's blog b4 and was so amazed by it! I was wondering where she took this pic from.. tsh tsk now i know....

Went to da Water Works Exhib too.. hmm nth spectacula though.. only 1 memorable thing there.. both ma sis and i scolded some kids (MUAHHAHAHAH) cos they tried to stuff some cotton wool into da polar bear's mouth! How irritating! Sighhh occupational hazard.. >.<

Headed to da Ecogarden (to get sucked by blood-thirsty mozzies -_-)

After much talk about going to Qian Hu for da fish spa, Dar Dar and I finally headed there! Da area for fish spa has expanded since da last time I went there.... Now there are 3 ponds instead of 1.... And 1 of da ponds contains much bigger fishes which was supposed to be more exciting.... but when we tried that pond da big fishes didn't seem interested in going towards pple.... they rather stay in da centre of da pond.... maybe they had their fill already cos there were alot of pple when we went there.... =P So we prefer da pond with da smaller fishies.... Geez....

Dar Dar had alot more fishes around his feet than mine! Must be cos of da abundant amount of dead skin on his feet! MUHAHAHAAAA!

Met up with Viv Chris and Bee on Tues.... (and as usual chris... is late.... >.< reason ="X)">

Our DCM grp (w/o Dayanah).... Miss those days when we day-dream, chit-chat and have loadsa fun during Dr Y's lessons!

Made a pair of shoe with Dar Dar last weekend.... And we are proud of our creation! =) Not an easy feat to complete this pair! Next time we shall try simpler designs.... patterns are way too tedious....

Aloha~!!!! Time for updates on ma holidays!!!! Weird that i am not consistently updating ma blog with da fact that it's ma hols right???? *shrugz* =P

Now meet ma lovely Chin Chin 1st before i continue with ma udates.... He looks so proud here.... like he owns everything..

Da past weeks had been fruitfully spent on meeting up with NIE darlings Viv and Christal (no pics for that though), BBQ with ma family and spending lotsa time with ma Dar Dar!

Meet up with Viv and Chris was great (except for da fact that both Viv and i had to wait for Missy Late for an hour!) She's da Queen for impunctuality (if there's such a word) if u ask me.... MUAHHAHA.... Dinner was at Hogsbreadth and all 3 of us ordered da same thing - Jamaican Chicken.... Caught Sex And The City and we totally heart da show.... (Winks at both of them) Headed to Bugis and we chill out at Starbucks for our usual chit chat cum gossip and laugh-till-we-cry session.... It was a pity we couldn't go ahead with our chalet plans but it's okie! We shall meet up very soon when Viv gets well! =) Love u girls to da max!

Went for our 2nd picnic 2 weeks ago! This time with NO assignment or exam stress! Yippie! And i had time to prepare egg and tuna sandwiches, drinks and salad!

Headed to T3 that same evening to step foot there for da 1st time.... Wondering what's up with that second pic? They are rows of neatly arranged trolleys! I am amazed la....

Next up.... our long-awaited Treetop Walk.... Woke up super duper early that morning so as to avoid that blazing afternoon sun.... Started our journey at 8-ish and it took us about 4 hours to finish da whole journey! 10 km of walking on uneven grounds, up and down, gravel paths is no joke sia! And for ma mum who went along with us was practically dragging her feet towards da end! But kudos to her for being able to tahan da long journey! Yippie! Fortunatly we also had some creatures to keep us entertain throughout our journey! We saw a baby monitor lizard who was totally oblivious to us as it was busy searching for food.... Little monkeys... baby monkeys that are as small as ma hand! So adorable! And of cos squirrels!

Was supposed to have a chalet with Viv and Chris yesterday but poor Viv fell sick.... So in da end Dar Dar and i decided to take up da chalet and treat it as our mini holiday (since we had planned not to go overseas for da hols this june)....

Well da pics on da website are really deceiving.... Da rooms are not as well furnished as what da pics depict! Cupboards with no doors, main doors that were about to break down, tv placed in ridiculous positions such that ya neck can almost break, BBQ pits that we must rent at exorbitant rates and we must transport it back to da room ourselves! Never would we return to that chalet for sure.... They seriously need some upgrading.......BADLY! (Sorrie Viv i forgot to take pics of da room to show u!)

After we checked in, we headed to da theme park as we had 2 tix which is part of da chalet package.... When we were there, we felt so OLD!!!!!!!!!! So many kiddos around and we felt real old.... And i felt so paiseh to be screaming at da top of ma lungs when I was sitting certain rides! ahhaha esp VIKING! kaoz da kids opp us were silent when they sat it.... da girls were like trying damn hard not to scream or sth.... 1 of da girls tried to control so much that her face turned red after that.... -_- So in that ship itself i was da only screaming!!!!!!!!!!! luckily Dar Dar came to rescue me by making more ridiculous noise! MUAHAHAH

I have been watching lotsa dvds, Hana Kimi (ma fav!!!) and Romantic Princess etc.... OMG Wu Zun is soooooooo cute!!!!!!!!!! *droolz* and I must say Ella can really act! Her facial expressions are always super animated!

Haven been out shopping a couple of times le and man i must say I kinda overspent! Esp that day when I went out with Gil to Bugis st! Spent almost a hundred can! but I Lubb da clothes I bought! Both Gil and I bought da same white tube dress! AHhaha but it's was nice! =)

Went out with Dar Dar last Sat and we caught da movie Harold and Kuma.. Crude but it was hilarious! Enjoyed it! And guess what.. Dar Dar brought me to make a bear at "Build-a-bear" at PS! Sweet! =) We wanted to get Tino a partner so he won't feel bored.... Geez.... And here's Ashley! Isn't she sweet and adorable? And she has heart beat! =D I wanted to get her a princessy dress at 1st but I realised that Tino was dressed in a rather hmm.... casual way so taaa-daaah this is da costume I chose for her!

Yippie.. finally updating ma blog after sooooo long.... Da exams are OVERRRRRRRRRRRR~!!!!!!!!! *ROARS* Went out with ma Dar Dar on Sat.. for ma long-awaited SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!! WeeEeee~!!!!!

After a long day of shopping and walking ard.. (some exaggeration there fine) we headed to pamper out growling tummies at Hotpot Culture.. Our 1st time there and I am pleasantly surprise with the quality of da food.. =) And u can see that we are so busy eating that i only took pics before we really started EATING.... MUHAHAHA.... Da chocolate fondue is great too! But a reminder if u wanna go to this place in da future.. this place doesn't serve a wide variety of steamboat stuff.. but they made it up by da variety of cooked food u can order off da menu! Splendid!

Supposed to give Dar Dar a birthday surprise on da 19th, which was 2 days before 103 paper, but oh well.. i blurted it out.......... and luckily dar Dar had to meet his group mates for project so this whole thingy was postphoned.... and Dar Dar was a little skeptical when I said we were not meeting on da 26th for his 'surprise' party.... but SMART me.. manage to BLUFF him all da way and Ta-Daaaaah~!!!! It was still a successful surprise for him.. and Jabb of cos! Thanks to Bee and Peiyu too! (I will never forget how da 3 of us look like 'DOGS' squatting there like what Dar Dar said! =X)

I am so old le.. 23 le........... sadness.. it just feels like yesterday that i celebrated ma 21st bdae.. time fliess.. really fast..

Celebrated ma birthday with Dar Dar today.. he picked me up from school then we headed down to Queensway to get our sports shoes 1st.. headed to IKEA to look at furniture.. wanna get some ideas for our new home! Finally we headed to Holland V's El Patio (mexican food) for our dinner.. this place was recommenede by Bee Hong and boy.. it's really good manz! A must-try! We were full to da max (thanks to da complimentary desser - apple cum banana "fried" crepe..) A funny story to da dessert was that when da waiter asked whether we wanted apple or banana, we pondered for quite a while.. we were like"apple?".. "banana?".. which one u want ah.. then finally we said "BANANA".. but when it came it was "APPLE cum BANANA".. muhahah da waiter must have sense our agony of trying to decide which fruit is better.. hahahahahaha.. but i must say.. da dessert... is Ooooh la la..!

Met up with ma secondary besties yesterday.. Chilled at Wai han's place for a couple of hours with some pizza and games of Blokus.. before heading down to town to catch a movie (recommended by han) which she herself fell asleep while watching it!!!!!!!!!!! arghh.... Oh well luckily da movie was rather interesting in a way.. apart from its arty farty and abstract meanings, i tot tha tit was not too bad.. if u are interested in such movies.. it's called Across the Universe..

Headed to Waraku (Jap) at Marina Square for our dinner.. ma 1st time there actually.. have wanted to go there for quite some time le.. so finally there i am.... =)

Ma mummy had been so busy these few days decorating her K2 classroom.. so i went down to her centre on Fri to help her with some drawings! hahha..

Just came back from ma family chalet at Changi.. We stayed at Fairy Point Chalet 7.. Super huge.. and i must say it's da best Changi chalet i have been too.. it's da newest and da cleanest.. and best of all we get to see a beautiful sea view.. and nice cool breeze to FLY KITES!!!! muhahahaa..

Met up with dear Viv.. went to Vivo for dinner.. we spent like 1/2 hour deciding on what to eat can.. -_-

We finally settled at Hog's Breath Cafe.. and guess what it was Ladies Night that day (Tues) and we get 50% off our maincourse! Cool! =D

Finally! After 2 days.. I finally completed uploading da pics of our Vietnam trip.. =)

Our Vietnam trip - 1st Dec to 4th Dec

Day 1

When we 1st reach our Changi Airport T1....

we are so excited and looking forward to da trip!

On board da plane.. Jetstar.. hmm a little squeezy and small.. but luckily it was a short one and a half hour ride..

Da airport at Ho Chi Minh City.. Very very very very.... EMPTY.. (see pics)

And we are off to find a hotel to stay!

We stayed in Thanh Minh Hotel.. Although it is only a 2 star hotel, da rooms are rather spacious and clean.. da staff are also very friendly and helpful! =D

Next to find food.. lunch time.......

A common sight in da city.. Lots of road side paddlers..

And da roads.. i can only describe it with one word.. MADNESS~!!!!!!!!!!!!
Crossing da roads is super duper scary and nerve wrecking.. Traffic lights are limited.. No clear road markings as to which is da left or right side.. Vehicles somehow managed to manovure ard u as u cross da roads.. 1 golden rule when crossing da roads there.. Don't look, just cross! and don't stop halfway!

Our lunch stop at Pho 2000.. heard that Bill Clinton dined here before too.. o_O

Pho is one of their speciality.. sth like kuay teow but lighter and not so oily.. Oh and their food portions are very small.. which explains why their pple there are rather small in size..
Next stop.. Ben Thanh market.. Loads of bargaining done here.. and i must say.. bargaining is a SKILL! (after da girls BAD experience at da 1st stall.. and it just spoiled ma entire day because of that.. arghh..)

After hours and hours of walking ard.. bargaining and stuff.. we were all dead tired.. went back to our rooms to rest before emerging again for dinner..

Our dinner place.. at a restaurant situated within a district somewhat similar to our Orchard road.. Would be considered expensive to da locals there..
Nice ambience.. rather good food but super small portion..

Day 2

Dar Dar Bee and maself woke up early for da breakfast they provide in da hotel.. but hmm.. sad to say their food was not satisfying for our picky mouths.. (actually more like Dar Dar's picky mouth..) So we went to da Pho restaurant next to our hotel for our SECOND helping of breakfast..

I had Beef Pho Soup.. and coffee.. I give their coffee 2 thumbs up!!!!!!!! Superbly strong and rich in taste!!!!! I LOVE it to da MAX~!! But Dar Dar refused to let me finish it up cos he was afraid i would get palpatation as it was too strong.. hmpfffffff.. Their food in general is relatively cheap but da coffee is rather ex.. A tiny cup cost us S$1.80.. But it's really worth da money!
(btw.. da little metal thing that u see above da cup is their strainer.. da coffee.. black black coffee drips down from there..)

This was indeed a day of eating and more eating.. After our 2nd breakfast.. we went back to rest while waiting for Prince Jabb and Princess PY to wake up from their slumber.. And when da 5 of us set off again.. it's time to find food again.. cos it's breakfast for da 2..

So here we are at this restaurant.. err called "Wrapped and Roll" if i am not wrong.. hmm food there is so-so.. I wouldn't reccomend it though.. (only da fried tofu is interesting)

Again feeling unsatisfied with da food.. we headed to another place for better food..

On da way we decided to be cam whores..
And here we are at Pho 99.. Nice lightings.. very cute lantern-like lights.. very friendly boss to serve us to cater to our needs cos some of us don't take beef.. so he was really kind enough to change da beef to deer meat! I ordered this diced beef dish with french bread.. really enjoyed it.. da meat is very tender.. da girls shared taro milkshake.. superb too! And we order eggs as well.. half cooked eggs.. Slurpzzzzzz.. can slurp out da gluey egg yolk.. YUMMY!

Next is shopping and more shopping.. and what comes after shopping?? EATING!!!!!!!! (i put on weight during these 4 days if u ask me..)

Super popular site for tourists.. packed with them.. great food great company i lubb it! =)

And their price is relatively cheap! 1/2 kg of LIVE prawns for only S$12!

We headed down to Fanny's da ice cream parlour located just below da Quah Ngon restaurant.. At 1st we (actually only da girls) were so excited when we saw a big poster that says "Ice-cream Buffet".. but to our disappointment it would only start on fri 7th.. by then we are already back in Singapore.. boooooo...... next time bah.......

Day 3

Headed to a backpackers area after breakfast..

Check out their overhead exposed wires.. what a crazy bundle of wires.... such a messy (and horrifying) sight....

Lunch time we went to this restaurant which had a really 'interesting' toilet.... almost semi transparent........... -_-

After desserts we headed back to Ben Thanh market for more last min shopping!! Da things they sell at da night market is so much cheaper and a lot more stuff to buy! MUHAHAHHA....

Day 4

Time passes real fast and it's our last day in Vietnam.. Time to say Home Sweet Home.. Before we headed to da airport.. Dar Dar and i rushed to do some really last min shopping (again at Ben Thanh market!!) MUHAHHAHA....
Back at our hotel.... b4 we bid our farewell.... we took some pics of and with da hotel receptionists.... They are really friendly and helpful and that made our stay in Vietnam great! =)

After being MIA for more than 3 months.. I AM BACK~!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exams are finally over! Never felt so 'light' before.. I can finally can enjoy da holidays.. *Happie*

I have tonnes of events to update! TONNES of pics as well~!! Weet!!

1st, on da most recent update.. What we did after exams! Went to catch Enchanted with Gil and Sylvia.. I really Lubb this movie! It's really really sweet and romantic.. At certain points of da movie.. I just teared.. don't know why.. but i think it's because everything that had happen is just so magical.. (hmm i think i am a sucker for such romance and lovey-dovey stuff..)

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

And I Lubb da main actress, Amy Adams.. she is so pretty.. has a nice voice and such big eyes! Looks a little like Nicole Kidman.. Both are so gorgeous! WeeEee!!

Later in da evening, met Dar Dar (whom i have neglected throughout ma entire exam period..) for dinner.. Went to Kushinbo at Suntec.. our long awaited meal.. Geez.. Dinner was great and SUPER FULL.. Lubb their Chawamushi there.. so smooth and fragrant! *Slurpz*

25 June 2007 marked the end of NIE life for some of us.. Gonna miss da girls that I spent most of ma NIE days with.. All da fun and laughter.. I will miss those.. Viv, Chris, Linda- Do keep in contact ya!! Must meet up at least once every 2 weeks!! I know once u guys start sch, u would be very busy le.. But we still must meet!! =)

And luckily for me.. Sylvia would be joining me in da Degree prog! I can still remember how we 1st met in NIE! HAHHA.. hilarious too.. Went to da LT "too" early and got a shock for ourselves! =P

Ma Dar Dar and I..

Met up with ma "ex-colleagues" last week.. How we "toiled" and do our everyday pitching during those times.. Taking cabs like no body's business.. Kicking pple's assess.. Gossipping about irritating guys.. HAHAHA those were da days..

And last week, ma Dar Dar went fishing and came back with 3 big fishes!! Da biggest is in da 1st pic! Damn heavy.. and smelly.. HAHAHA I really don't like da fishy smell manz.. But they are really huge! Dar Dar caught 4 at 1st.. but he gave one to his friend.. =) And he gave ma family da red one.. =P

Out with da girls again.. Minds' then Acid Bar.. Tuesday is Ladies Night in Minds'! After 6pm, gaming charges for women are freeeeeeeeeee~!

.....and our most impromptu CHALET!! 3 of us had great great fun fuN FUN!! And we came to a conclusion.. We can't eat too much sweet stuff.. If not we would get SUGAR-RUSH.. and 3 MAD women would emerged.. MUHAHHAHA.. Lubb u girls!!

On da day Minny went away.. I received da letter to cross over.. Yap I was

very happy of cos! But that is such a mixture of feelings.. Oh well..

I havent really blog about how ma dear Minny passed on.. It was really

saddening indeed.. When we saw her that morning, I noticed "something red

and wet" at her backside.. And I scanned da cage and was shocked to

discover red stains at certain parts of her cage.. We lifted her up.. She seems

really weak.. didn't even stir when we lifted her up.. Our worst fears.. To our

horror we saw this red thing dangling from her anus.. It was simply gross..

And we all freaked out.. At 1st we thought it was her shit stuck there.. We

wanted to pull it out but was too afraid to do so.. Just in case it was not (and

luckily we didn't!!)

We rushed her to da nearest pet clinic available.. Da vet said it was a

Prolapsed Anal.. which means her RECTUM CAME OUT.. Da vet said it could

be because Minny was having a diahorrea and she was squeezing it too hard

and caused da rectum to come out.. She even told us that it was very close to

having da intestines out.. It must have been so painful for ma dear Minny..

Having a surgery was not the best option as she might go any time during da

surgery.. Chances were less than 50%.. Putting her to sleep was a less

painful option for her.. It was really painful for us.. She would always be

remembered.. Always..

For da past few days.. some of us were happy with our cross overs while

others were unhappy about da whole cross over system..

Yap I agree da system in NIE is not fair.. Pple who worked so hard and scored

reasonably good grades during their 2 years in NIE did not managed to cross

over.. but those pple who have F*** care attitude and scored like S*** still can

cross over.. Why? All because it depends on our A level or Poly results.. Pple

who did not cross over seemed to be condemned for life becos of their past

results.. They tried to turn over a new leaf and wanna worked hard during

Finally! Practicum has come to an end!! =) Hmm not that I should be extremely happie.. but at least no more crazy lesson plans and observations for da moment!

Frankly speaking, I do miss ma kids now. Esp ma P4 class.. Even though they are the weakest class and really naughty and noisy, but they are still very luvable.. Really enjoyed maself very much when I am with them.. Now that I am going to another school, I can't help but to be upset at da thought that I would not be see them in Tao Nan again.. Will post up some pics of ma pupils soon!

A long time since I last posted sth.. Practicum has started.. This time, it's gonna be for 10 weeks!! Almost 3 freaking months!! Gosh.. Don't knwo how am I gonna survive there.. And tml.. I would be starting to teach da classess.. And I am not very confident this time round cos of ma P4 class.. They are of lower ability and I am afraid they would not understand what I say.. CNY Day 2
Dar Dar joined us today.. We headed to ma aunt's place.. mum's side..

As usual.. me and ma sis.. siezing every .. EVERY opportunity to photo-whore.. (And ma mum can't stand it!!) MUAHHAHA

Lo-hei there too.. Look at ma sis trying to grate some turnip.. And we made a BIG MESS after we lo-hei-ed!!

On CNY's eve.. we went to eat at Lai Wah Cantonese Restaurant with ma aunts at Bendemeer Road.. Despite it being an old.. very old.. restaurant.. it was still fully booked and packed with sooo soooo sooo many pple! And it was featured in da Sunday Times da next day and they rate it 4 STARS!! Wooo!!

Went to catch a movie after da reunion dinner.. JUST FOLLOW LAW.. taht's da movie we watched.. and it was a GREAT choice!! Super hilariously funny!! And u will get to see FANN WONG like u never seen her b4!! Damn spoil image but she did a perfect job!! A MUST-WATCH!!

Went to da Qian Hu Fish Farm on Tues with Viv, Jasmine, Pei yu, Jabb, Shin Ling and Wei Ni.. It's for Viv's grp Science presentation.. And I tagged along cos i was tempted to go to da FISH SPA!!!!!!!!! Noo u didn't see wrongly.. it's da FISH SPA!!! where little fishes called Doctor Fish would eat up our dead skin from our feet!! =D

At first when we put in our feets we were all screaming!! Cos it's soo soo damn TICKLISH!! Seeing all da little fishes swimming towards ya leg can be quite daunting i must say.. But after a while we got used to it and Waaa Laaa! We enjoyed it very much!! U should go try if u have da time.. it's only $10 per half hour! Geez..

As for ma group's Science presentaion, we went to da Turtle Musuem which i went b4 with Bee Hong and gang.. This time i went with Michelle, Claudia and Xiujing.. And it was realy Fun!! We had a wonderful time talking to da super nice Uncle Tan and feeding da tortoise and turtles!! Let da pics do da talking!!

There was this turtle that was so greedy that it fell on its back when we fed it with cucumber cos it lost its balance!!!!!!!!!!! Damn Funny!!!!!!!!!

Saturday - With ma family..

Here are some random photo shots taken with ma Dar Dar and sis.. Went to eat at Soup Restaurant for dinner, then we headed to Gelare for some SINFUL waffle and ice cream.. Caught a movie (One Last Dance aka Cha2 Wu3) at Suntec.. It's the type of movie u either love or hate it.. because.. it is freaking complicated and confusing.. u need to work ya brain juices to piece da plot of da story together.. I personally feel that it is a good movie because it is unique and some of the scenes are very different from a typical movie.. I LOVE this movie! =D
Sunday - With Bee Hong and gang & ma sweet sweet Dar Dar..

It was a day of pleasant surprise(s).. 1st Dar Dar secretly went to buy ma present beforehand and left them in his car.. We were suppose to buy ma present on this day.. Which was why i didn't find anything fishy when he told me that he wanted to go to Parkmall.. he said that there are wallet shops there (cos i wanted a wallet).. and i stupidly believe him.. -_- Sometimes being stupid is good cos u may get surprises! =) And it was cheeky Bee Hong's idea to "assign" him to bring me to Parkmall.. Initially Bee Hong told me she can't celebrate ma birthday with me cos of da assignments, but who knows.. she and gang came up with this BRILLANT idea of bluffing me.. wanting to surprise me.. See what i meant by being dumb and stupid? =D

Sweet Sweet Bee Hong dear baked me a delicious chocolate cake.. It's a very pretty heart-shape.. *touched* i received flowers, cake and a $50 ERO voucher (which i immediately used on that very day!) Thanks for everything pple!! *beams*

Their lasagne and pizza are superb too! If u are wondering why did we head down so far to Changi Airport to eat at Pasta Fresca, da reason simply because their quality of food in da airport is much mucccchie better! Really don't believe go try Sakae Sushi at Chagi Airport too.. I am sure u can tell da diff!! =P

And this is what ma Dar Dar gave me.. a pretty wallet.. Pink somemore!! Wee!! I Lubb it! =D Thanks Dar Dar for da wonderful gift and time.. I feel so much like a princess.. *Muax*

Monday - With Viv, Christal and Sylvia..

Today's da actual day! And we planned to go to Mind's Cafe to enjoy ourselves.. Da funny thing is that exactly one yr ago, i celebrated ma 21st bdae at Mind's Cafe too.. hahah.. but it is a really great place to hang out with.. It is even better than Settlers.. Food wise hmm da CRIPSY CHICKEN PLATTER is a must-try! It tastes so much better da one in Settlers.. And don't.. i say DON'T.. ever try their seafood marinara!! Gosh.. What a bad experience Viv and I had with that manz! Frozen fresh.. *PUI* But luckily we still managed to change that horribly HARD seafood marinara to da Crispy Chicken Platter which both Syl and Chris had!! MUAHHAHA.. Da power of COMPLAINTS!! =)

After Viv's lessons she rushed to JP cos she SAYS SHE NEEDS TO PASS STH TO HER MUM.. and another surprise came for me cos she actually went there to buy me flower and a cake!! Sweet! OOOoo I soo sooo Lubb surprises!! Thanks Viv!! *Hugz*

Went on a CRAZY shopping spree with Viv and Christal on Monday.. And I spent a bomb! Goodness gracious me.. And I am currently poor like a pauper (okie a bit kua zhang..) Almost there though hahaha.. We spend like 2 hours in Forever 21.. And this is one shop I never seem to stay long in da past.. But surprisely on that day itself we spend damn damn long there.. trying and trying clothes till we are soo sooo tired.. And da clothes there are rather EX.. they seemed to have marked up da prices or sth..

This is da 1st top I laid ma eyes on.. But once I saw da price, I quickly put it back manz.. Then later on as Viv and Christal started to take clothes to try, I tot to myself, "Why not just try FOR FUN la but don't buy can liao.." WORD OF ADVICE: Never have this tot cos u will most end up like me.. BUYING it in da end!!
And that marks da START of our shopping fever..

This is da 2nd top I bought.. Simple and I can wear it to teach next time too..

This is one is very different from ma usual type of clothes.. very.. hmm.. LEOPARDY.. okie lame -_-

This final top is one that cause me to REALLY REALLY have a big headache on whether to buy or not.. cos i have already bought 3 tops which has left a hole in ma pocket! But Viv and Christal were like, "Wa very nice lehz.. BUY laaaa!" Yap and that's how it ends up with me..

There's always a Part 2 when it comes to SHOPPING.. And da Part 2 happens yesterday with Viv lo.. Went to JP for dinner then continue our shopping! Both of us bought 2-3 clothes wor! Cheap Cheap somemore at This Fashion.. MUHAHAH..

One week from now I shall turn one yr older.. After 21.. we seem to age faster.. Time seem to pass faster as well.. This past one yr has been quite alright.. Got to know some of ma NIE friends better and realised they are a delightful bunch to be with.. One of which is Vivien.. aka BLUBBER =X.. It's great getting to know her better and I lubb da laughter we both share.. (Don't smile too widely yet Viv.. I havent finish..) HOWEVER.. she BULLIES me often.. How she does that I shan't reveal.. Sobz.. (*silent laughter*)

And i also felt that I got closer to ma sis too.. Our relationship seem to have improved even more.. Geez.. And I am happie for that..

Dar Dar and I have also made plans for our future.. Applied for a flat and we are really praying our application would be a success.. =)

I am still thinking of what I wanna for ma bdae.. Be back soon..

School started today.. What a stuuuupid way to start ma day with ma tutor being such an ass.. Apparently tutorial was supposed to start at 1 30pm.. So da whole class waited for ma tutor's arrival.. 1 45pm came but she is still not in class.. So Sylvia, Christal and I decided to go look for her (in case she loses her way.. -_-).. When we reach her staff room.. WA LA! We saw her cuddling a little baby and talking to 2 other student teachers (I would assume)..

So I approached her and said (in da MOST polite tone," Dr ******, u are supposed to be having a tutorial with us now.."

We were kinda expecting some shock and apologetic response from her but.. she just freakily FROWN and said," Noooo.. It's cancelled.. Didn't u guys check the BLACKBOARD?" (And she frowns further..)

So Sylvia ask," So Dr ******, when did u put up the notice?"

"In the MORNING", she replies.. (Giving us that non-chalent stare) I feel like strangling her at that moment..

Isn't her notice too last min!??! (Well this goes to show that she is sooooo darn "efficient") Plus, not everyone checks da BLACKBOARD in da morning.. However one of ma friends check da BB that particular morning at about 10am.. But she found no notice there.. WELL DONE isn't it?? She most prob posted it up after 10.. which is 3 hrs before tutorial.. WELL DONE.. And da whole class was waiting for her.. only to find out that.. TUTORIAL IS CANCELLED!! Don't know whether we should cheer or cry at that point in time.. Sighz..

BOO HOO HOO~!! School's starting le.. So sian sian sian.. =(

At least i enjoyed maself at ma family's chalet from da 29th to 1st! We stayed at da Fairy Point Chalet 2 at ALOHA CHANGI.. Da chalte is... SUPER BIG! I Lubb da spaciousness of it.. Just nice for our 4 families to be in there.. And we had great Great GREAT fun thru out these 3 nights! I Lubb every moment of it! We played like there's no tomorrow and we all went crazy drawing each other's faces! Even da aunties and ma mum weren't spared! MUAHAHHA.. (Drawing faces is part of a forfeit laaaa not that we are really crazy or sth ya.. hahhaha)

Da 1st night.. We had our X'mas feast.. I always lubb our X'mas feast.. Yummy.. While Dar Dar and another coz of mine went fishing, da girls played mahjong thru da night and drew each other's faces as forfeit!! I was lucky to get only drawn twice! Ma cousin and sis ain't that lucky!

And da drawing of faces didn't just stop there.. We continued it with our mothers on da 3rd day!! MUAHAHHA.. We played Dai-dee, Charade, and this game we call it "Calling names".. =D 2nd day we had BBQ and we were all so full-up!
We celebrated ma sis bdae on da 3rd night as well.. She is a 1st Jan baby that's why.. Geez.. We are both Jan babies muhahah..

Went to IKEA today with ma mum, sis and Dar Dar.. Da one at Tampines.. It's freaking BIG!! And da rain was also freaking HEAVY!! It kept raining non-stop today.. Sianz.. So while Dar Dar was driving, ma sis and I were photo-whoring away.. Muhahahaa..
We had our dinner at IKEA too.. And oh my.. I lubb their chicken wings!! Yummy! We also had swedish meatballs, Fish and chips alike, spaghetti, poached salmon.. A pity they didn't have Princess cake there cos it's out-of-stock! Ma sis was saying how heavenly it was manz.. But luckily for us, we managed to get da LAST packet of da whole Princess cake down at their mart!! And yeshhh it's SUPER HEAVENLY!! A Must-Try!!

Met Yiting on da day before and I finally passed her her present which I owe her like for half a year.. HAHAH..
On Sunday, we went to celebrate ma aunt's birthday at Oxford Hotel.. Here's some pics taken..

But nevertheless we still enjoy ourselves at da shop choosing those charms! We spent like 1-2 hours there? Hahha..

Pardon me for not updating lately.. Well both Dar Dar and I are currently excited about sth and we have been praying for it!! =D

Went to da Settlers last Thursday with da girlies..

Then we headed to Cineleisure for dinner!! Chicago Steakhouse.. Viv and I heard that it was good so we wanna go try it out! But it turn out to be quite a disappointment for both of us.. except Christal who enjoyed her Teriyaki Grilled Fish.. That was really YUMMY! But for Viv and myself, we order Steak.. WELL DONE somemore.. cos we can't stand da sight of blood trickling down our steak.. Ewwww.. And it was INDEED so WELL DONE that it was ROCK-HARD! -_- Plus da wild mushroom sauce taste like milk powder.. So creamy and rich.. ( TOO rich!) It was sooo jerr latt! =(

Then we headed to Alleybar to meet Claudia and Mich! Just rem "Can u take without YOUR legs?" (I am sure u girls do rem this line! Esp Viv!!)

And we played Hai Dai Quan as u can see in some of da pics.. Look at both Claudia and Viv.. Viv is like one MAD woman.. She keeps shrieking in EXCITEMENT!

And lats but not least.. we are all "enjoying" our "ORANGE" juice! Gosh it's actually chilli sauce mixed with some water!! Quite gross.. Lotsa of garlic taste.. Don't thnk ma Dar Dar would wanna kiss me after that I drank that actually Hahha..

Wanted to go da Adidas Sale at Expo on Saturday.. But when we got there, we were shocked by da QUEUE!! To GET IN, we may need to queue for about 1-2 hours!! Gosh.. No way we will do that.. So we left for Suntec to check out their Sports Exhibition..

But before we went for da exhibition, we went to check out SEXPO which is just next to da Sports Exhibition hall.. We heard that there was body painting in there and decided to check it out! Oh well but how unlucky we are da body painting would only be ready at about 6 plus.. By then we would need to leave for Parkway to meet ma Mum liao.. But.. But.. I bought 2 lingerie sets from SEXPO at only 85 bucks!! WeeEee~!!

I remember setting ma eyes on these 1st set LAST YEAR!! But it was out of stock.. And WA-LA! I saw them again this year! And its price is half of last year's!! =D Happie Happie!! I lubb da pink pinkiness and seashell design.. =)
Next is this pinky cum black lace set.. It's super duper comfortable! Plus it soo cheap too! Geez..

A tired me after packing ma room.. (Part 1 only..) But thanks to Dar Dar for helping me with Part 1 of cleaning ma room.. =)

Sorrie for da lack of updates.. Havent been home often ya cos staying over at Dar Dar's place rather often during this period of time.. Wanna spend as much time with his Ah Ma as possible..

Updates for last Friday!! Went for ma 1st Kickboxing session with Viv! And I must say.. it was tiring.. super tiring..!! Da pace was kinda fast and both of us didn't really expect it.. Not for da 1st session at least.. And with Viv making "funny" noises during some exercises like push-ups or sit-ups, how can I not laugh till ma hands go jelly as well.. -_- But I still enjoy it and I am looking forward to more sessions!! =D

Here's some updates from da outing with Viv and Sylvia!! (Christal was supposed to join us.. but due to last min changes and there.. we didn't meet her.. sorrie girl.. next time we shall go alleybar!! =D)

Me and Viv on da train and while waiting for train.. PHOTO-WHORING away!! It's a disaster to take train with Viv! 1st we almost miss our station and got off da very very VERY last min! Da feeling is special.. Even though she ain't ma real grandma.. Da 1st time I saw her.. I still rem.. An indescribable feeling came over me.. Even though we don't speak much to each other.. because I couldn't .. I regret I couldn't get past da language barrier.. I had so much to tell her.. To whisper in her ear that I do love her.. That she is like ma real grandma.. Someone precious that I want to cherish.. And that I do cherish her right from da start.. cos I know she is someone very very special..

WeeT~!! Went for a facial today at Holland V with Bee and Peiyu.. This is da first time I am going for a FACIAL~!! So exciting!! Cos i wanna see them squeezeeeeeeeee out ma BLACKIE HEADS! Ma nose is infested with BLACKIE HEADS.. Ewwwwww.. It's a complimentary one cos Bee got 2 complimentary vouchers.. So Peiyu and I had out FIRST facial experience! It was good.. Really relaxing.. that I fell asleep!! =D After a nice facial session, we headed down to eat XO Sliced Fish Bee Hoon and Ipor Hor Fun.. Yummy!! Burpz~

Yeah finally I can upload da pics~!! Having problems with it yesterday manz..
Went to a TURTLE FARM last Sunday.. Entrance is cheap cheap and we totally enjoyed ourselves~!! Da uncle there is so friendly and generous~!! Best of all da farm DON'T stink at all~!! =D

Bee Hong and I coincidentally carried da same pouch~!!
Look at these turtles~!! Da yellowish one looks like it has da neck of a CHICKEN~!! Damn funny..
And da one at da bottom left.. It looks sooooo cute~!!
Da one beside it looks scary.. like da eyes gonna pop out any minute~!!

And these turtle is not one u will like to keep as a pet.. or even TOUCH it! It is da world most dangerous ALLIGATOR SNAPPING TURTLE~!! Look at its mouth!! Da uncle said that it can snap off a human's wrist! GOSH.. And its tongue looks like it is INFESTED with WORMS.. Uncle say this is to attract da fishes..
And da bottom right pic is a soft-shelled turtle.. Looks like a hippopotamus.. Hahaa..

Went to M Hotel to stay for a night with ma girlies over da weekend.. And we had lotsa Fun FUn FUN~!! =D

Had breakfast at home.. Lunch: Was this massive HOTDOG BREAD followed by AUNTIE ANNE'S.. Snacking in between as well.. Dinner: Shared a WHOLE SLAB of PORK RIBS and APPLE PIE.. Followed by EGG TARTS and CHAR SIEW SOH.. SCARY?? I think so.. =X
